Announced on the Rift Facebook around this time yesterday:
The hour that the head start will go live: 1:00 p.m. EST (10:00 a.m. PST, 6:00 p.m. GMT).

Rift's open beta event has drawn to a close, but the head start event is just around the corner! We've known for awhile that the head start is scheduled to begin on Feb. 24, but Trion Worlds has announced that the exact start time will be 10 a.m. PST. Mark your calendars and prepare to make your gameplay count in 72 hours!
If you want to participate in the head start program, you need to pre-order the game. If you don't, you'll still have the opportunity to jump into Rift with the general public when the game officially launches on March 1.
By my calculations that make its 5 am on Feb 25th for AEST( Australian Eastern Standard time)
